As Interactive Art Director at Corbis, I managed a Seattle-based design group from my Minneapolis office. I collaborated with globally-based marketing and corporate executives to produce campaigns and presentations that positioned Corbis as an industry leader. I worked with development teams to create product prototypes and improve UI experiences.
I streamlined our approach to marketing campaigns including design process and interaction patterns, ensuring a consistent experience for Corbis customers.
Maintaining customer relationships through low-cost, memorable engagement provided opportunities for simple creative fun.
I worked in tandem with the Corbis development team to create a search experience that vastly outperformed the legacy search UI. As a team member, I delivered competitive analysis, workflows, and visual design solutions. A demo of the approach for Corbis chairman Bill Gates won his support.
