I partnered with product designer Sally Rumble at Smart Design to develop a packaging system as thoughtful as the personal care tools she had designed. The result was an innovative, easy-open package that delighted users—particularly arthritis sufferers.
We wanted to find a way to protect package contents but not require users to rely on scissors when they opened the product at home. Material explorations included foils, paper and plastic with varying degrees of rigidity and perforation.
